"Call of Duty" has been bringing the heat by absolutely redefining World War 2 gaming.
Taking a step back to their roots, "World at War" challenges the norm for WWII game play. Fighting as U.S. marines and Russian soldiers, you will fight where no game has gone before. From the Pacific to the Eastern front, you will indulge into absolutely savage warfare. Not much can prepare you for this first person shooter type of in-your-face gaming.
While fighting the merciless Japanese army, you will be confronted with close quarter warfare, fighting relentless soldiers who don't know the meaning of surrender or retreat. Hiding in spider holes, disguised in the brush, sniping from trees and charging with bayonets. The question is: Are you ready? If you're not absolutely captivated yet, don't worry there is more.
Challenging your shooting skills, you're able to partake in a Navy aircraft mission. And later, you can man the controls of your own Russian tank. Lastly, one of the most important aspects of "COD: World at War" is the online multiplayer game play. Working on the Modern Warfare multiplayer World at War still has create-a-class with comparable perks, with a variety of new ones associated with tanks.
Now winning does not come without benefits. Three kills and you with get a spotting plane, five kills an artillery strike, and seven kills without dying gives you the newest, deadliest possible feature, calling in the dogs. And lastly what's better than killing Nazi zombies? The bonus co-op mode called Nacht der Untoten (Night of the Undead), is where your and some friends can defend yourselves against a momentous amount of attacking Nazi zombies. Inside a barricaded bunker, you will try to keep theses pesky zombies out.
Though, in the end the zombies will kill you. You are faced with the challenge of lasting the longest. Tanks, planes, killer dogs, flamethrowers and zombies. "Call of Duty: World at War" took WWII to another level. Can you beat it?
